The Anavarata Dance Institute
The Anatavara Dance Institute is a non-profit, community-based organisation dedicated to
- Propagating Indian Classical, authentic folk and tribal dances in South Africa. The emphasis being on the relationship between teacher and student i.e.
“Guru – Shishya Parampara”. - Providing for the holistic development of the student by creating a passion for a spiritual artform deeply based in discipline, devotion and dedication – a perfect recipe to deal with life.
- Striving to bring a new dimension and fresh flavour to the artform, ensuring a cultural mission that takes the student to new heights.
- Creating an institute that has no linguistic, cultural or racial barriers.
